Harveena Sandhu

Born and brought up in England, Harveena Sandhu is an inspiration to plenty of women across the globe. She is the Co-Founder of Star Glam Entertainments Inc One of the renowned entertainment companies in the GTA area in Canada and has successfully hosted many different shows from time to time.

A few shows that captivated the audience delightfully are musical concerts by famous artists such as Arijit Singh, A R Rahman & Hari Haran. Truly hard working yet vivacious and exuberant Ms. Sandhu is known for her efforts in uniting the communities across the global cultural platforms through her remarkably innovative approach in event management.

Harveena truly believes in women's empowerment. She believes that confidence is the best ornament a woman can wear. Her outstanding efforts in hosting multiple beauty pageants focus on providing many women with a platform to realize their dreams and showcase their talent. Harveena receives year-round applauses and appreciation for her annual signature “Karva Chauth Pageant” that she has been hosting for 5 subsequent years in the GTA. Interestingly, this beautiful boss lady herself has been the winner of Mrs. Karva Chauth competition, held in Amritsar India for 3 consecutive years in a row (2000, 2001 & 2002).

Her Karva Chauth event offers an opportunity to the women of all age groups, communities and from almost all walks of life to come together with their families and celebrate the Hindu festival of love with immense enthusiasm and joyful spirit. The day is ended on a happy note as women strive to bring out their best talent with their spouses to earn the titles and crown each year. Not only this, but Harveena is also a household name with the South Asian community residing in Canada owing to her contribution towards South Asian Canadian Health and social services (SACHSS) and South Asia Network Supporting and Research (Sansar). She is an active member of these committees and supports them by promoting cardiovascular health awareness.

Events like Indian Idols (Idol Ke Dewane), Bollywood Gharana (Abhijit Pohankar), Spirit of India (Shaimak), India Pavilion Carabram Festival, Urban Garba 2, Panorama, Jalsa Boat Cruise, Karva Chauth Celebrations and Pageant, Halloween Costume Party, Paint nite, Dil To Pagal Hai Valentine’s, Shamrocklicious Yaara Da Tashan St. Patty’s Nite and many Gazal events with Sachin Lamayi, Jolly Mukherjee, Surinder Khan, Ustad Tari Khan, Ustad Athar Hussain Khan and Dr. Roshan Bharti were brilliantly managed and hosted by the organization. Another feather to our cap is a recent event which we recently hosted for the famous Bollywood Actor Govinda.

Harveena resides in Canada and is a dedicated mother of two wonderful kids. She is also a fitness enthusiast, music lover, and a brilliant cook. In her leisure time, she prefers to spend time with her close circle of friends who have always seen her smiling and spreading cheer. She is a firm believer in three “Pillars or Ps” of life: Peace, Patience, and Perfection.
